Some of the world's biggest jazz stars will be coming to the first spring edition of Plovdiv Jazz Fest. They will be not only performing in concerts, but also meeting young Bulgarian jazz musicians. Jazz singers, piano players, double bassists and guitarists will have the opportunity to work alongside renowned mentors including Gretchen Parlato, Taylor Eigsti, David Linx, Peter Slavov, Mike Stern and Leni Stern.

22 March: David Linx (vocal art)
23 March: Peter Slavov (double bass)
24 March: Mike Stern and Leni Stern (guitar and improvisational music)
Some of the mentors will also select participants to join them in their concerts during the festival.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
The working language of the workshops is English.
Although there is no participation fee, selected applicants will have to cover the costs of their stay in Plovdiv. Each applicant will also be given access to their mentor's concert.
The number of participants is limited. A committee of jazz musicians will select the participants.
You can apply to attend workshops led by more than one mentor.
Approved candidates will receive a confirmation email for participation in the workshops after 10 March. This email will also contain detailed information about how the workshops will be conducted, as well as their duration on the day.
You must be familiar with the mentors' work.
